The Design Detective is in…
Do you know the way you have your space arranged tells a story about you? Your choices of color, artwork, furniture, as well as the design details impact every area of your life i.e. your wealth, health, relationships, career, and your opportunities.
The story reveals what keeps you from having what you want. As a Design Detective I “read” the clues in your space and create a blueprint for you to follow so you can live an extraordinary life.
Question:
When I draw a floor plan of my house for you why do you want me to clearly mark the location of the stove? How important is my stove in Feng Shui?
Answer:
The location of the stove in your home is extremely important. Not only the location of the stove in relationship to the whole house but also the location of the stove in the kitchen. The stove gives clues about your opportunities to make money money. The stove is considered the “wealth generator” in your home. What does your stove look like? How do you use your stove? How clean is your stove?
-
- Make sure all parts of the stove are working well. That means all the burners, knobs, grills, cook top and oven. If a part is not in tip top shape your ability to generate money is limited. The more that is broken the more limited you are. If you have a four burner stove and only two burners are working you are limiting 1/2 of your opportunities to make money.
-
- Use all the burners, not necessarily at the same time. You can rotate the use of burners, one meal use the front burners and another meal use the back burners, or some other combination. The key here is to use each burner, that way you are utilizing all your resources to generate wealth. Using the burners does not always mean you have to cook. I have a friend that does not cook, but she uses her stove to light incense.
-
- Keep the stove clean. Make sure all spills and splatters are wiped up after each use. That includes the rings under the burners, back splash, knobs, grills, exhaust fan filters, and the stove top. A messy stove slows down your opportunities.
-
- Do not store anything on the stove top.No pots or pans, burner covers, cutting boards, or appliances. The burners should be clear. This shows you are ready for prosperity and opportunities. A teapot on the stove top is the one exception. So if you are a tea lover you are in luck, you may keep your teapot on the stove top.
Take a moment to reflect on your prosperity and the opportunities you have have to create wealth now. Next look at your stove and determine what needs repair, cleaning or use and make an action plan. Remember your stove is the “wealth generator” of your home and if you take care of it, it will take care of you.
