Everything You Want Is In The Flow State

March 29, 2019 by @elioverbey

The flow state holds the key to everything you want. Peace of mind, prosperity, fulfilling relationships, a meaningful career, vibrant health & happiness can easily be yours when you dwell in the flow.

What is the Flow State?

The flow state happens when your personal energy vibration, desires, and surroundings are aligned.

Enter the state of flow when you are happy, confident, and creative, everything seems to go smoothly, you are grateful, you can laugh easily, and your thinking is clear.

There is no flow state when you are angry, depressed, worried, confused, and stressed. Or you also feel like everything is difficult, nothing is going your way no matter how hard you try, or you blame others for your circumstances.

Here Are 2 Crucial Concepts From the “Law of Flow”

There is inner flow and outer flow. It is not enough to get your outer surroundings aligned if your inner landscape is cluttered with harmful thoughts, a negative attitude, and limiting beliefs.

Inner Flow

Inner flow is that place where your body, mind, soul, and intuition connect and align.

You influence your inner flow by the food you eat, your exercise routine, your sleeping habits, your thoughts, words, and time for self-care.

The soul appears to be mysterious because it seems to be hidden from you. Yet, it is available for you when you learn to listen to its messages.

Your soul is designed to keep you healthy on all levels, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

It is an intuitive transmitter and is always giving you feedback, even when you are not listening.

Your soul is the loudest, most relentless part of your inner being. It makes you restless about why you are here.

Your desires to matter, mean something to someone and, make a difference are calls from your Soul.

Meditation and self-care routines support your inner flow.

Outer Flow

Outer flow is about energy and your surroundings or environment.

It is about visible energy in your space such as a desk and the invisible energy present like your emotions.

Have you been in a room with someone and you could feel their emotions of love or anger without them having to say anything?

Emotions are present even when no one speaks.  Feelings create an energy vibration in your space that can be felt whether it is uplifting or draining to your flow.

When you move or add items in your surroundings you change outer flow too. Outer flow depends on the alignment of the visible and invisible energies in your spaces, and that is where Feng Shui can be your secret weapon to get your outer flow aligned.

The Flow State

Alignment is what it is all about. Sync up your inner flow with your outer flow and enter the flow state.

You know when the flow is lacking in your life by the way you feel. If you feel fear, worry, hesitation, and warnings about a current situation you are not in the flow.

Intuition speaks to you through your gut feelings. You may recognize it in a toxic relationship, a stressful job, or exhaustion. Intuition gives you clues when something is not quite right.

In the flow messages also come to you from your intuition. Feelings of excitement, comfort, safety, and trust, especially when wondering if you should take on a new project, help a needy friend or stand up for yourself in a relationship. Intuition also gives you clues when something is right.

There are benefits to following the clues to that lead you into your flow state.

Benefits of the  Flow State

  • More freedom, flexibility, and fun
  • Peace of mind
  • More ease and grace
  • Confidence in making the right decisions
  • More of what you want
  • Live a life that matters, has meaning and is fulfilling physically, emotionally & spiritually

When you sync up your life and business with your inner flow and your outer flow you enter the sacred space of the “Flow State”, where everything you want resides.

5 Ways Feng Shui Vision Boards Help You Reach Your Dreams

February 15, 2019 by @elioverbey

There are people waiting for you to tell your story and share the gifts only you have. Telling your breakthrough story inspires others to believe they can transform too.

Don’t make them wait too long.

A Feng Shui Vision Board helps you align your dreams and intentions with your surroundings, to magnify your ability to reach your dreams.

Do you have a dream? Are you living your ideal life?

Is there something that seems to drive you? It could be answering the questions,

  • Who am I?
  • Why am I here?
  • How can I make a difference in my family or the world?
  • How to create a space that supports inner peace?

Do you set goals for yourself, either in your personal life or for your business?

When was the last time you allowed yourself to daydream about your ideal life or business? I mean turn off the computer, the phone, the television kind of time to be quiet and dream.

Most importantly, what do you really want for your life and/or business?

Do you know your WHY?

What is the reason behind all that you do?

It might be to:

  • Live in financial freedom
  • Create fulfilling relationships or community
  • Find inner peace
  • Live in vibrant health
  • Make a difference in the lives of your family and/or clients
  • Show up as your best self

It is important to know what drives you.

Knowing your WHY helps you stay focused.

A Feng Shui Vision Board is a creative tool to help you access both sides of your brain.

It is as if there is a dance going on between the right(creative) side and the left(analytical) side of your brain.

The images on a vision board open your mind to the possibilities because you see images of what you desire.

Placing the vision board in the correct position in your space creates better flow and makes it easier for you to take the actions necessary to make your dream happen.

Let’s explore 5 ways Feng Shui Vision Boards Help You Reach Your Dreams:

# 1 – A Feng Shui Vision board makes you focus on what’s important to you.

As you explore the 9 Feng Shui areas of life you prioritize which area you want to focus on first.

The 9 Feng Shui areas of life are wealth, fame, relationships, career, family, health, inner magnificence, helpful people, and children. I suggest you choose 1 or 2 areas to focus on first.

Whether you combine a personal vision board with a professional one or keep them both separate, thinking about what you want in life or in business forces you to prioritize what’s important.

Do you want a fulfilling relationship or better health? Putting a photo of a couple having fun or an active healthy person will inspire you to stay focused on your dream and not give up when taking action gets hard.

#2 – Visualization stimulates the creative side of your brain.

Creating a Feng Shui Vision Board is relaxing and gives you access to the right, feeling, dreaming, creative side of your brain. When you spend time having fun and allowing your right brain to be free you open the gates to more creativity flowing.

Now your creativity is flowing, keep a notebook handy to jot down any ideas you have for a new exercise plan, meditation routine, or relationship boosters you may want to create.

Placing your Feng Shui Vision Board where you can see it often, serves as a daily reminder of what you want to achieve.

Tip: Take a good look at your Feng Shui Vision Board before you go to bed. Some believe it helps stimulate your subconscious mind. Imagine everything you want coming to you. It will also help you be motivated to take the necessary actions in the morning.

#3 – Focusing on your dream helps you see new resources and opportunities.

Visualizing yourself living with prosperity (or whatever your primary goal is) will motivate you to work towards that goal but you’ll also notice new opportunities and resources which can lead you to reach your dream.

The resources may have always been around you, but you did not see them until you created a dream and focused on your dream. You will see the resources in a new light now, as a way to help you reach your intended dream.

#4 – Say Good-bye to your comfort zone by visualizing a big, scary dream.

Are you playing small because you’re afraid to break out of your comfort zone? Do you feel stuck with no idea how to get unstuck?

Let yourself have a big dream, even if it seems too big to accomplish.

Acknowledging big dreams as scary and outrageous as they may be –will help you step out and take on new challenges, learn new skills, all in the name of reaching that big dream.

If your dream is to share your message and speak in front of an audience of 1,000 at your favorite conference. When you put an image of that on your Feng Shui Vision Board you’ll start to see more opportunities for smaller speaking engagements.

These smaller gatherings will give you lots of practice and build name recognition so when the organizers of your favorite conference announce they’re looking for speakers, you’ll be well prepared to submit your name.

#5 – Seeing a big dream, forces you out of fear and into action.

Nothing happens without some action on your part.

Vision boards are not magic tricks; they are instead a tool that inspires you into action because you know what we want and you use images, create it, believe it, and take the actions you need to make it happen.

Visualize your ideal life then approach each day with action steps which will lead you toward that ideal life.

Your big dream is inside you, waiting for you to say yes to it. People need what only you have to offer. Isn’t it time to take the next step to make it happen.

I created a Feng Shui Vision Board product to help you create your ideal life and business by living your dream. You can get started here

11 Feng Shui Tips To Reduce Stress For The Holidays

December 11, 2018 by @elioverbey

Does the thought of gathering with your family for the holidays make you stressed, overwhelmed or cranky?  The holidays are supposed to be a time of joy, love, and happy families, but for many people feelings of loneliness, obligation, and stress surface as the holiday season gets underway.

I have talked with several people that are feeling overwhelmed by getting ready for the holidays and family gatherings this year. They are worried about having time to get everything done. The biggest worry seems to be bringing the family together in one place at one time.

Recently, a client asked me for Feng Shui advice to make her holidays with family more enjoyable and less stressful.

Even though many of her family members live in the same town, it seems that they only see one another during the holidays.

Many arrive to her home in a pleasant mood. It is not long until opinions differ, and the silent judgments begin, which is witnessed by the sharp glares and piercing looks in their eyes.

At first, critical comments are spoken softly, almost a whisper, as if no one were listening. Soon the tension builds, the glares get a voice, the volume escalates, people begin positioning themselves for protection or battle.  A new level of discomfort fills the room.

The fighters, visibly angry are looking for an argument. Those seeking protection begin to avoid talking to anyone. Not the happy holidays you wanted.

My client wants to use Feng Shui principles to create a peaceful and cooperative environment in her home.

Your home tells a story about you. What you experience in your life is visible in your home when you look with Feng Shui eyes.

Here is what you need to know to reduce family stress during the holidays.

The Family

One way to reduce family stress during the holidays is to evaluate the “family” area of your home.

There is an area of the Feng Shui Bagua (Feng Shui energy map) that is devoted to family. This area includes current and future family members, family health, family harmony, ancestors, and unresolved family issues.  Let’s look at that area in your home.

The family area is in the middle, left side of your home the items in this area of your home influences your current and future experiences of family.  It is worth a good look around this area.

What do you see there?  Is it your favorite armchair a healthy plant, beautiful art, the extra room that is a catch-all for clutter, or your Feng Shui Vision Board.  What do you feel in that area, happy, tired, depressed, inspired? Whatever you see and feel in that space is part of your family Feng Shui story.

Here are a few questions to ask yourself. What clues do the items in that area tell you about your family:

  • Peace
  • Harmony
  •  Health
  • Cooperation
  • Communication
  • Fun

Look closely at what you see and feel there and give yourself an honest evaluation.

Even one small change, such as clearing clutter makes a difference. It can be what gets the energy moving to transform everything.

Your Intentions

What you think as you anticipate your family gathering influences what you experience because your thoughts set your focus point. Your focus point determines how you see the situation.

As you think about, your holidays what do you think will happen? Do you have a feeling of family togetherness? Is there open communication between family members? Is there a history of holiday chaos?

And the big question, “What do you want?”

Take a few minutes to imagine your family gathering just the way you would like it to be and then visualize it happening that way. This is a powerful first step in creating what you want.

Your intention sets the stage for your actual experience.  Your visualization of that intention happening helps support your vision.

Once in the situation, you make choices based on your focus point and expectations for the gathering.

11 Feng Shui Tips To More Peace Of Mind During The Holidays

This holiday season holds great potential because you can create wonderful memories, have fun, heal old wounds, and feel appreciation for your family.

  1. Decide what you want, in as much detail as possible.
  2. Set an intention, see it happening, feel it as if it has already happened.
  3. Clear any clutter from your home, especially the area of “family” in the bagua. If you only take one action from this list, clearing clutter is by far the most important action you can take. Clutter is the most draining force in any area of the bagua. Wherever I see clutter I know there is a problem in one or more areas of life.
  4. Do one good deed each day.
  5. Take time to fill yourself up. Your giving is much fuller when you give from the place of fullness. What makes you feel recharged? A walk-in nature, listening to music, taking a hot bath, talking to a friend, reading a good book, meditating, going to the gym, or meeting with your Feng Shui Coach.
  6. Decorate the entrance to your home with lights and live plants.
  7. Decorate the inside of your home, especially the “family” area with lights, shiny decorations, live plants, candles, and if you have a Christmas tree the “family” area is a good place to put it.
  8. Use scents of the season, like evergreen boughs, mulled cider, frankincense and myrrh, spices, peppermint, and others that you like.
  9. Energize the house before people arrive by burning incense, offering blessings and prayers, saying your intentions out loud in the room, and play uplifting music, or hire a Feng Shui Consultant to do a house blessing ceremony.
  10. Celebrate and treat yourself to a hot bath, a soothing massage, or a cup of tea. Congratulations on a job well done.
  11. After everyone leaves to release any tension left behind by your guests.  Schedule a Space Clearing with a Feng Shui Consultant to release the energy of 2018 and uplift the space for 2019 to bring you peace of mind, radiant health, and prosperity.

You can have more peace of mind this holiday season by implementing these Feng Shui tips.

Harness The Power Of Sacred Symbols To Improve Your Life

June 25, 2018 by @elioverbey

Symbols influence you every day, even when you are not aware of it.

Your brain recognizes and knows the meaning of many common symbols.

When you see a red circle with a diagonal red line through it you have instant recognition. You know it means “No”. No to whatever is pictured inside the red circle, no smoking, no food, no swimming, or no pets.

The International Red Cross organization uses a symbol of a red cross on a white background. It is recognizable and usually means there is disaster that requires help. Everyone knows the red cross symbol is a sign of good will, protection and humanitarian support. Your mind knows help is either present or on the way when this symbol appears.

You communicate using symbols every day.

Our use of symbols goes back to early man. Symbols have been used by many peoples and cultures throughout history.  Man began using symbols to communicate, record events, and tell stories.  We see evidence of that on cave walls, inside pyramids, and on ancient scrolls.

Symbols have been and still are included in spiritual rituals and religious ceremonies. The cross, the chalice, and symbols of the elements (fire, earth, water, metal, wood) are examples of sacred symbols from ancient times that are still part of rituals and ceremonies today.

Transmitting power to a person or place is another way we use sacred symbols. During my Reiki Master Teacher certification Reiki attunement symbols were used to transmit the power of the reiki master teacher healing energy to me.  I could feel the shift in my energy field during the process.

The Ankh, a sacred symbol from ancient Egypt, has been used to on many occasions to reach higher levels of consciousness.

The power of sacred symbols is available for each of us to use even in today’s world.

When Is A Good Time To Use Sacred Symbols?

Sacred symbols can be used to boost the energy of your intentions, prayers, and meditation, or when performing ceremony to bring in supportive energies from the heaven realm.

Boost your intentions by writing them down and including an image of the sacred symbol that represents the power you want to bring in to help manifest your intention.

When you pray you can hold an image of your sacred symbol in your hands or you can place the image on your personal altar, so it supports your prayers continuously.

At the beginning of your meditation you can visualize your sacred symbol and then bring it into your mind and heart. Know the symbol is present even when you let go and move into your meditation.

Portals to Possibilities

When you use sacred symbols, you are opening a portal into the energies of the universe. I believe sacred symbols are portals to the possibilities of your destiny and you can incorporate them into your everyday life. The portal is a gateway for the energy of your desires to enter.

I paint sacred symbols into my art intentionally. I choose the sacred symbols to open and empower my desires.  At some point the energy of the sacred symbols begins to radiate from the canvas, fill the room and bathe me in their power.  I have entered the portal to my possibilities.

When I hang that art in my home the entire piece radiates the energy of sacred symbols and my intentions into my surroundings, bathing me in that power 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Imagine how it feels to be surrounded by the positive energy of your desires as that energy aligns with your personal energy. I notice I have more confidence, clarity and courage and I can focus on what I want more easily.  Negative thoughts and doubts seem to disappear. That is when I know I am living in the flow of my possibilities.

I amplify the manifesting power of my intentional art when I use Feng Shui principles to place the art in the most beneficial area of my home.

And what you see here is Ganesh, a Hindu diety, who is the bearer of new beginnings, knowledge,  and wisdom. All qualities that we each need to carry out our intentions.
