When you wake up in the morning what is the first color you see? Your ceiling, a piece of furniture, or your sheets? Color influences your mood and your mindset from the time you wake up in the morning until you go to bed at night. Color also impacts the flow of chi/energy in your home and the flow of chi within you.
Adding or changing color to your space is one of the fastest ways to change the energy of your home or workplace. When choosing color for a room keep in mind how you want to feel in the room before making a final decision. Remember, though, that some colors work well in some rooms but not in others. Each color has a unique quality and you can intentionally use color to create the qualities you desire.
Feng Shui Color Tip
You must love the colors that surround you. I am referring to the Bagua. Many people think because an area of the Bagua is pink, they must paint the room pink. That is great if you love pink. It is an awful idea if you do not love pink because every time you walk into the room you will subconsciously cringe as you look at pink. That cringe depletes your personal chi/energy. You want the colors around you to nourish you and build your chi/energy.

What qualities do you want to incorporate into you home or workplace? Remember a small amount of color in a picture frame, a pillow, intentional art and other decorative items bring the qualities of the colors into your space.
